Role access required in Sphere of Influence

Hi

Currently Role field access is required in Sphere Of Influence for it to work online. Our business team would like a option of removing the Role access from end users without removing the online SOI functionality.

    We are loading connection data from backend which is different then regular affiliation. We are loading only relationship strength and Influence connection between two HCP accounts.  Therefore Role field will be blank. But as per current SOI setup, access to role field is required otherwise SOI is not visible online. External Id is using role field. We do not want end users to see Role field in filters when we are not using it.
