Veeva Crossix Issue Type Descriptions
This knowledge article provides a reference for various types of issues that can occur when setting up campaigns with Veeva Crossix.
The descriptions provide information on discrepancies between Ad Server and Crossix tag impression volumes, duplicate tag tracking, and low placement exposure. In addition, issues can also indicate a missing value, or newly detected campaigns by the Crossix system that require further configuration by the partner.

Needs Crossix Tag |
Ad Server impressions are being recording but there are no tag impressions. Implement the tag, or confirm correct tag implementation, on specified placements to accurately measure impressions. |
Impression Discrepancy |
Impression volumes are discrepant between Ad Server numbers and Crossix Tag numbers. Crossix will provide case specific steps to resolve discrepancies. |
Double Tracking |
An Event Tag and Site-Served/In-App tag are tracking the same placement. Crossix will provide case specific guidance on resolving duplicate tag tracking. |
Google Campaign Manager Confirmation |
A new Google Campaign Manager campaign has launched under their Advertiser ID. Provide more information on Google Campaign Manager accounts for newly launched campaign. |
Low Identity Capture |
This issue indicates that a placement did not meet the required exposure threshold to capture identities required for analysis. Collaborate with the publisher to identify exact Inventory Locations and verify correct tag implementation. |
Device ID Passback |
An In-App tag is measuring the placement but not passing correct Device IDs through the [DeviceID=] placeholder in the tag. Crossix will provide instructions to correct the missing placeholder in In-App tag for accurate Device ID tracking. |
Google Campaign Manager Tag Not Appended |
Ensure Google Campaign Manager tag is appended alongside Crossix Tag(s) for accurate discrepancy analysis. |
Newsletter Testing |
Confirm correct Crossix Tag is appended to Newsletter/eNL proof for accurate measurement. |
Feed Set Up Required |
News feeds have been detected and require configuration. Configure the feed and complete the provided tracker for the associated campaigns. |
Files Not Delivered |
Missing files for active campaigns have been detected. Investigate why data has stopped being received for campaigns previously marked as active. |
Unrecognized Campaign ID |
Unable to match campaign IDs to an active campaign. Provide client, brand, and indication in the provided tracker for the following campaign IDs to properly categorize data. |
Campaigns Not Yet Started |
Detected campaigns do not have a start date. Provide updates on campaign start dates if available. |
Partner Inquiry |
General inquiry sent from the media/data partner. Address any partner inquiries regarding brand or measurement. |
