Question:
Why Is There a Delay When Aborting a Job in the Nitro Admin Console?
Answer:
The abort request is designed to be fetched every 5 minutes, and will never abort any currently running tasks.
If any tasks are running when the abort is requested, the ETL will wait until the task completes and abort the next task. If multiple jobs are set to run in a Job Orchestration, and the user requests an abort while the last task of Job 1 is running, that task will complete and Job 2 will be aborted.
