How to link to the content anchors for imported references in Vault PromoMats and Medical?
Answer:
Annotate and Edit Relationships permission is needed.
When references are imported from different documents or brought forward from a previous version with differences from the newest version, Vault cannot find the correct placement for the anchors and needs to be manually linked. They can be linked to the current content by following the steps below:
- Open the Linked Document section using the Relationships View.
- Click on the small Action menu for each imported reference.
- Choose where the reference icon should appear on the content.
NOTE: when the imported reference link is fully linked to the content, the anchor turns green.
