How to accept and complete a task in Vault?
Answer:
A task can be completed from the banner on top of the document or from the Home tab.
Note: If a task was assigned to a group of users for any to complete, the user must first Accept the task before it can be Completed.
- To complete a task from the document:
- Open the document.
- On top of the document find a green banner (or red if overdue) with the name of the task and the button Complete.
Note: If the task is Available to more than one user, the task shows the button Accept first. Click Accept to take it and then Complete.
- Fill in the required information. This information will vary depending on the task, the below is an example.
- Once the information has been entered, click Complete.
- To complete a task from the Home tab:
- Navigate to the Home tab.
- Find the task under the All Tasks View.
- Hover over the task Assigned to you and click Complete.

- Fill in the required information. This information will vary depending on the task, the below is an example.
- Once the information has been entered, click Complete.
