Question:
How can an Admin configure PowerPoint Presentations to Display Speaker Notes in the Viewable Rendition in PromoMats?
Answer:
PowerPoint has a built-in section for Speaker Notes, but displaying them in the Viewable Rendition is not the default behavior within Vault. If the Speaker Notes are not displayed when uploaded, the Rendition Profile needs to be updated by an Admin.
To configure Speaker Notes to be seen on Viewable Renditions when uploading PowerPoint Presentations, please follow the instructions below:
- Navigate to Admin.
- Click on Configuration > Document Setup > Rendition Profiles.
- Select the Rendition Profile to be updated.
- Click Edit.
- Under Rendition Display, select the box next to Always show Speaker Notes in Viewable Renditions for PowerPoint documents.
A PowerPoint file that contains Speaker Notes will now be displayed on the Viewable Rendition in Vault.
