What are the procedures to relink a CRM sandbox to Network after the CRM sandbox has been refreshed?
Answer:
- Login into the Network sandbox instance that will be linked to the CRM sandbox as a System Administrator. Make note of the URL in the browser address bar. It will be used in step 9.
- Navigate to Admin --> System Interfaces --> Systems.
- Locate the name for the system used by the CRM org. Often it will contain "VCRM" in the name. Make note of this system name. It will be used in later steps.
- Click on the Users tab.
- Make note of the username used for the CRM bridge. It will be of "Integration User" User Type. It will be used in later steps.
- Log in to the CRM sandbox as an Administrator.
- Click on the Network Administration tab.
- Click on the Edit button in the Network Credentials section.
- Enter the Network sandbox URL from the browser address bar in step 1 in the Network URL field.
- Enter the username of the CRM Bridge user from step 5 in the User field.
- Enter the password for the CRM Bridge user in the Password field.
- Click the Submit button.
- Click the Validate button to confirm the linkage is correct. The Credential Status will show Valid if it is entered correctly.
- Click the Edit button in the Salesforce Credentials section.
- Enter the Salesforce username of the CRM integration user in the User field.
- Enter the password of the CRM integration user in the Password field.
- Click the Sandbox? checkbox to confirm the CRM org is a sandbox.
- Click the Submit button.
- Click the Validate button to confirm the credentials are entered correctly. The Credential Status will show Valid if it is entered correctly.
- Click the Edit button in the System Identification section.
- Select the system name for the Network system identified in step 3.
- Click the Submit button.
- Click the Validate button to confirm the Network system information is entered correctly. The Credential Status will show Valid if it is entered correctly.
