Why a user cannot start a workflow in Vault PromoMats and Medical?
Answer:
There are multiple reasons why a user cannot start a workflow:

The document is checked out and is required to be checked in.
- The document is in the middle of a Collaborative Authoring session. Users need to cancel the session.
- The document is in the middle of an active workflow. There can only be one active workflow at a time.
- The user does not have permission to start a workflow.
NOTE: If a user does not see the action, even if the permissions are enabled, please check with Support.
