How to archive or un-archive a document in Vault?
Answer:
Application: Search: Manage Archive permission in the user's Security Profile is needed to take these actions.
The Document Archive feature is useful for documents that are no longer relevant in day-to-day operations, but may be needed in the future.
Archived documents don't show up in searches or in the Library, and they cannot be modified once they're archived. Only authorized users can see the Archive tab in Vault and find the documents saved there.
Users can archive and un-archive documents from the document's Actions menu:
A Bulk Action is available from any View's Action menu to archive multiple documents or from the Archive tab's Actions menu to unarchive multiple documents.
