How to bring forward annotations from a previous version in PromoMats and Medical?
Answer:
The following permissions are needed to bring forward annotations:
- Annotate
- Edit Relationships
- Edit Fields
Bring Forward Annotations functionality gives the ability to bring forward link, note, and line annotations from prior document versions. To bring forward annotations, do the following:
- Click View Annotations and Bring Forward Annotations.
- Choose the Source version.
This is the version where the annotations needed in the newest version are correctly placed, the system auto-populates the immediate previous one. - All annotation Types to bring forward are automatically selected. Deselect any that is not needed in the newest version.
- Click Continue.
Optional: Click Advanced to inform Vault of any major changes in the file. See more below in Related Documentation.
