How to bring forward annotations from a previous version in PromoMats and Medical?
Answer:
Bring Forward Annotations functionality gives the ability to bring forward link, note, and line annotations from prior document versions.
- In the All Actions menu, find the ANNOTATE section and choose Bring Forward Annotations.
- The Source version shows the immediate previous one by default. Select the previous version where the annotations to bring forward are currently placed.
All available Annotation Types to bring forward are selected by default. Deselect any Type not needed in the new version.
Click Continue.
- Optional: Click Advanced to inform Vault of any major changes in the file. See more below in Related Documentation.
Note: Annotate and Edit Relationships permissions are needed.
