How to reset a password in Vault?
Answer:
The following steps are only applicable for users under a Basic username and password profile:
- Access the Vault login page.
- Click on Having trouble logging in?
- Click on Forgot Password.
- Enter your User Name and click on Continue.
- A message will appear indicating that an email has been sent.
- Open the Veeva Vault password reset request email and click Reset Password.
- Type a new password in the New Password and Re-enter New Password fields.
- Click on Continue.
The user can now use that password to log into Vault.
Note: The email will come from vault-emails@veeva.com. The password-reset link expires after 24 hours.
