How to upload a distribution package to a document in Vault?
Answer:
A Distribution package is a Rendition Type, and it consists of a ZIP file formatted to display in CRM.
Document distribution packages can be generated automatically by Vault from source files or uploaded manually by users.
To upload a distribution package Edit Fields permission is needed.
In order to upload a Distribution Package:
- Click on the Document Files icon:
- Scroll down to the Renditions section and click on the Add (+) button:
- Select the Distribution Package from the Rendition type drop-down menu, choose a file from the computer and click Upload:
