Question:
How to upload new version in Vault?
Answer:
Edit Document permission is needed.
When a new version is uploaded, the Source File gets updated and a new Viewable Rendition is created by Vault.
- Click on the Ellipsis menu and choose Upload New Version:
- Choose the new file from your computer and click Upload.
Vault uploads the file (version number increases) and it may take some time to generate a Viewable Rendition. The action is recorded in the Audit trail and shown in the Timeline View.
Once the Viewable Rendition is displayed users can progress the document by starting the next workflow or bring forward annotations from a previous version.
