How to use the Send as Link feature in PromoMats and Veeva Medical?

Answer:

The Send as Link option allows the users to share a particular document with any other user in Vault or with non-Vault users. Once they have accessed the document, they are automatically assigned the role Viewer in the Sharing Settings.

Note: Some Vaults may have restrictions enabled for the Viewer role.

To use the Send as Link option, follow the steps below:

1. Select Send as Link from the All Actions menu.
   
   
   
   
2. In the Add Recipients box select a Vault user or type a non-Vault user's email address and press Enter.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Optional:
   
   
   • Select Allow non-Vault users to download viewable rendition
   • Select a Link expiration for non-Vault users
   • Personalize the Message
   • Select Send a copy to myself.
     
     
4. Click Send.  

Note: The View User Information permission in the user's Security Profile is needed to see this option within the all Actions Menu.
