Why is the Goal Not Saved in Align Model Account Territory?

Question:

Editing a Goal in CRM Feedback does not update Model Account Territory in Align. Why is the goal not saved in the Veeva Align Model Account Territory?

Answer:

Modifications to Goal challenge and reasons are stored on the mc_cycle_plan_target__aln record. 

  • Remove Account and Keep Account are stored on Account Territory Model records.
  • Add Target, Remove Target, and Edit Goals are stored on the Cycle Plan Target records.

It is expected for challenges that pertain to the target record to not make it to the Account Terr models.
