What is the Advanced Bring Forward Annotations functionality in PromoMats and Medical?
Answer:
When the newest version is different from the the version where all annotations have been placed, the user can Bring Forward Annotations and choose the Advanced functionality to inform Vault of the changes in the content.
- In the All Actions menu, find the ANNOTATE section and choose Bring Forward Annotations.
- Click Advanced to expand further options.
- The box now shows three more options.
- Do not bring forward duplicate link annotations: Prevents more than one instance of identical link annotations within the same page from being brought forward.
- Do not bring forward page-level annotations: Prevents annotations that cannot be automatically placed from being brought forward.
- Specify added/removed pages: Specify pages added to the new version, and/or pages removed from the selected prior version, if any.
- Click Continue.
Vault accounts for these changes when placing the brought forward annotations.
Note: Annotate and Edit Relationships permissions are needed.
