How to Check the Roles and Permissions of a User in the Sharing Settings of a Document in Vault?

Answer:

The Sharing Settings of a document show the role/s assigned to a user or group and the permissions related to that role for the state the document is in.

The permissions of a role may change with each status of a document's lifecycle.

1. Click on the Sharing Settings button on the right-hand side of the document.
   
   
   
   
2. See the list of Names and Roles:
   -Hover over the Name of the User or Group to find more information:
   
   
   

   -Hover over the Role to see the related permissions for the status the document is in. A checkmark means the role has access to this permission. 

   
   
   
3. Use the dropdown bars All roles or All Users and Groups to find a specific role or user respectively.
