What Time Zone Does the today("user") Formula Token Utilize in Vault?

Question:

When using the today("user") token on a Vault formula field, what time zone does it use?

Answer:

The today("user") formula token uses the POD's system time, which is in the UTC/GMT timezone.  It does not use the Vault Local Time set in the Vault Settings page.
