What is the SFDC ID of a record in Veeva CRM (Salesforce)? How can it be retrieved?
The SFDC (salesforce.com) ID is a unique identifier of any records located in Salesforce organizations. These IDs exist in 15-character or 18-character formats and are stored in the id field of any Salesforce objects. The 15-character SFDC ID can be converted into an 18-character format.
Using and providing SFDC IDs in any of these formats are appropriate.
The SFDC ID of a record can be retrieved in the event the record is directly viewed in a web browser. It is located inside the URL after the Salesforce instance.
