Question:
What statuses does Veeva Align push MC Cycles and related Multichannel Cycle Plans (MCCPs) into Veeva CRM?
Answer:
- Published MC Cycles are pushed with the status of In Progress (In_Progress_vod)
- Published MC Cycle Plans are pushed with the status of Planned (Planned_vod)
Once the MC Cycle and the related MCCPs have been pushed with these statuses and the start date of the MC Cycle is reached, the MCCP Admin Multichannel Veeva Scheduler job (MCE Engine) will update the status of the MCCPs to In Progress and begin their calculations.
In general, the job overwrites the status of the MCCPs with the status of the MC Cycle.
Note: These are hardcoded values at the side of Veeva Align. They must not be changed at the side of Align. In case a change is necessary in the statuses, it has to be done in Veeva CRM. For example, a Status_vod__c = Completed_vod MC Cycle can be changed back to In_Progress_vod in CRM in special scenarios.
