What is the Maximum Size for all File Formats in Vault?
Answer:
Text, Video and Audio files can be uploaded to Vault using the Web Browser or File Staging / Vault File Manager for larger files.
Additionally, the Related Documentation listed below includes information about the File Formats supported by Vault.
These are the Maximum File Sizes to upload into Vault and further requirements for Video files:
- Uploading Files using Web Browser: 4GB
- Uploading Files using File Staging or Vault File Manager: 500GB
Note: Only Video files up to 100GB and 2h long will ensure an optimal experience for Video Playback. Video files above 100GB (up to 500GB) or longer than 2h will upload but a Viewable Rendition won't be processed and Video Playback will not work.
For an optimal experience with Video Playback, it is recommended to keep the following video profile:
Frame Rate: Up to 60 FPS
Bitrate: Up to 8 Mbps
Resolution: Up to 1440p or 2K
