How to Receive Emails for Approved Notes Monitoring Results in Veeva CRM?
Answer:
With the 22R3.2 release, admins no longer receive emails for Approved Notes monitoring results. Instead, admins can configure automated email alerts.
Please note: these instructions are for setting up an Email Alert upon a new 'Monitored Text' record being created.
Set up Email Template
- From the App menu, search and select Email Templates.
- Click New Email Template.
- Enter the Email Template Name, Subject, and Body of Email.
- Click Save.
Set up Email Alert
- Within Setup, search and select Email Alerts.
- Click New Email Alert.
- Enter the following information:

- Description
- Object: for this scenario, select Monitored Text
- Email Template: Search and select the Email Template created in previous steps.
- Recipients: select the Recipients to receive the email as well as any additional email addresses for non-Users. Click Save.
Build a Flow
- Within Setup, search and select Flows.
- Click New Flow.
- Select Record-Triggered Flow, then click Create.
- Enter the following information:

- Object: for this scenario, select Monitored Text
- Trigger the flow when: for this scenario, select A record is created
- Set Entry Conditions
- Optimize the Flow for. Click Done.
Add Send Email Alert Element
- Click the + sign
- Select Send Email Alert.
- From the Action menu, select the applicable Email Alert.
- Enter the following: Lable, Record ID: for this specific scenario, select $Record, then select ID.
- Click Done, Save, then Activate
