Overview:
The customer is using a Source Subscription to update some Health Care Providers (HCPs). This meets the Network Address Inheritance criteria, to inherit the Address of the Parent Health Care Organization (HCO). Network Address Inheritance (NAI) triggers for some of the HCPs.
Root Cause:
If a local (private) Address is the same as the PHCO address, NAI does not pull down the duplicate Address from the parent HCO. This is because it is identical to the parent HCO address and therefore NAI does not take over assuming the customer wants to keep the Addresses and maintain them.
Solution:
This is the current behavior of the Network Product.
If the customer wants to inherit the pHCO's Address, deactivate the existing private Address and run the Source Subscription again.
