How to reinstate a document in PromoMats and Veeva Medical?
Answer:
There are several reasons why a document is canceled or withdrawn in Vault. This includes:
- The document expiration date is met
- The document is mistakenly canceled or withdrawn by a user
The user can Create a Draft or Make a Copy of the document so the review and approval of the document can be done.
Creating a Draft increases the document version and the document number stays the same.
By making a copy of the document, the new document can contain the same information as the original, but the document number is different.
Note: The Version permission is needed to create a draft. To make a copy, the user must have permission to create on the document type as well as the View Document and View Content permissions on the document they want to copy.
