What is the Timeline View of a Document in Vault PromoMats and Medical?
Answer:
The Timeline View displays the document's history including lifecycle state changes and workflow task details.
- Open the document.
- From the Document Information panel on the right, select the
icon.
- In the Timeline View, users can view:
-completed workflows (in grey) and active workflows (in orange)
-information about the workflows and assigned tasks
-the outcome status after each action (blue oval)
-the links to previous versions
- To view all the information about a workflow, expand it clicking the arrow on the left of the Workflow Name: Workflow Owner, Task Owners, Task Verdicts, and Task Comments.
- Hover over the document status to see the document’s previous lifecycle state and the date on which the state changed.
Note: Only Workflow Owners can see a menu ("..." icon) next to the Workflow name with the actions available. Only Workflow Owners can see a link to access the Workflow History Report.
