How to Export Search Results in Vault?

Question:

How to export filtered Library search results in Vault?

Answer:

Filtered Library searches can be exported by using the Grid View. 

 

To export the search results, please use the steps below: 

  1. From the Library tab, click the Layouts menu and select Grid.

  2. From the Actions menu, users have the ability to Edit Columns, Truncate Cell Text, and Freeze Columns to include in the export.

  3. When ready to export the information, click the Actions menu and select your Export option.

  • Export to Text downloads the fields in TXT format. This option is only available if localization is enabled for the Vault.

  • Export to Excel downloads the fields in XLSX format and maintains column headers and filters. 

  • Exports can include up to 10,000 records.
