Issue:
Assignment Preview displays results in the Target Tab, however Assignment Commit does not generate Muti-channel Cycle Plan (MCCP) Data in the Production/Live environment of Veeva Align. The MC Cycle is in the Production/Live environment. Targeting Rules are in use.
Cause:
The issue is caused by the Start Date Time of the MC Cycle being in the future. Production/Live Targeting Rules do not generate MCCP data until their Start Date Time is reached. The Targets tab in the Preview displays the results for the currently active MC Cycle.
Resolution:
The options are as follows:
- Wait until the Start Date Time of the MC Cycle is reached.
- Adjust the Start Date of the MC Cycle to back in the past.
- Use a Modeling Project, run Preview/Commit on the Project against the Planned Publish Datetime, freeze the Targeting Rules, and then publish the Project on the Planned Publish Datetime.
Note: This scenario is not applied to the Push to CRM process. Published, Production/Live MC Cycles in the future are pushed into CRM in the event the Include in the Push field is set to Yes.
