Overview:
When the user completes a multi-document workflow task, the following error occurs:
The user is unable to complete the task.
Root Cause:
When the multi-document workflow configures the Update Document Sharing Settings action, the system tries to update the document role during the task event.
However, if the assigned user does not belong to the Allowed Group for the specific role, the system fails to update the document role. As a result, the error message occurs when the user completes the task.
Solution:
To solve this, the user needs to be sure that the task owners, who are assigned to the document role, belong to the Allowed Group.
