Why a Specific Document Field Cannot be Found in the Field Dependencies Configuration in Vault?

Question:

An admin wants to configure the field dependency for a specific document field in Vault. However, this field cannot be found in the Field Dependencies configuration. Why is that?

Answer:

This field is set to a required field. When a field is set to required, it can not be displayed in the Field Dependencies configuration.
