How to refresh an existing Veeva Network sandbox instance?
Answer:
In order to refresh an existing Network Sandbox Instance, do the following:
- Identify the 5-digit instance ID associated with the sandbox instance to be refreshed.
- Identify the 5-digit instance ID associated with the instance to refresh from.
- Open a ticket with Veeva (Network) Support, supplying the information above.
Network Support relays this request to the Network Developers for completion. The Engineer assigned to the Support ticket notifies the requester when this is completed.
Please note that the Operations Team requires the request to be submitted one week before the expected start date. This provides Operations with the time necessary to complete the Refresh. If there is a specific date by which this needs to be completed, the requestor should provide it in the Support ticket so the date can be relayed to Operations.
The time it takes to complete a Refresh is dependent on many variables and, therefore, does not have an anticipated completion time. Support keeps the requester notified of any updates during the process.
