When the Approved Email sync faces an error, the records within that batch will proceed, but no records from any subsequent batches will be processed. This applies to all the errors in the Approved Email sync, and the content is not fully updated in CRM until all sync errors are resolved.
On the other hand, if an error occurs during the CLM sync, the record with the error will be skipped, and all other records across all batches will continue to be processed.
