Question:
Can Multiple MC Cycles be Created on the Same Field Force with Identical Date Ranges in Veeva Align?
Answer:
This scenario is also referred to as MC Cycles overlapping.
The Align Targeting functionality does not support overlapping MC Cycles. This applies to MC Cycles having Modeling references. Furthermore, this scenario also involves the creation of a new Modeling MC Cycle and a Published MC Cycle already existing on the same Production (Live) Field Force. There is an OOTB validation being present at the Field Force level which prevents an overlapping MC Cycle from being created. The validation initially retrieves the range of MC Cycle published date interval - Start and End Dates - and checks if that date overlaps with the Production (Published) MC Cycle's dates. If it does then the validation displays an anticipated error message, that an MC Cycle already exists.
