Question:
When saving new content to a Brand Portal, the user receives an error: Errors saving portal and guidelines. Why is this?
Answer:
In order to support the content being added to Brand Portal, the fields, Portal__v and Portal_Widget__v must be enabled for all Document Types that are added to the portal. When saving the content to a Brand Portal, these fields are populated with details of all portals in which the content is available.
If the user does not have Edit Access to the document content being added, the Portal__v and Portal_Widget__v fields cannot be updated and the error occurs. The user needs permission to grant Edit Access to the Document content that is being added.
