What is the Logic of Determining Which Approved Email Sending Domain is Used in Veeva CRM?
Veeva CRM uses the following prioritization to determine the Sending Domain:
- If the Sending Domain is defined in the Email Domain field of the Approved Document (email template) record, that Sending Domain is used.
If the Sending Domain is not specified in the Approved Document, the Sending Domain specified in the APPROVED_EMAIL_DOMAIN_vod field of the Approved Email Settings record is used.
- If Profile-specific Approved Email settings exist for the sending user's Profile, the sending domain from that Profile's Approved Email settings is used.
- If no Profile-specific Approved Email settings exist for the user's Profile, then the org-level Approved Email sending domain is used.
