Administrators should take the following points into account before/during the process of opening a Support Ticket with a MyInsights Studio Domain creation request:
- Duration: Studio Domain creation takes time, usually 1–2 weeks. The process is coordinated by the Product Support Team but involves the assistance of multiple other departments and the Studio Domain will be created with a Sandbox version release. The whole process can take up to 4–6 weeks if feedback and confirmation are required, so administrators should plan accordingly.
- Verification: Before opening a request, administrators should find out if their organization already has a Studio Domain. If yes, the Studio Domain name needs to be provided in the Support ticket.
- Unmanaged orgs: Organizations have to be managed by Veeva before the configuration of a MyInsights Studio Domain starts.
- Multiple domains: Administrators should consider that MyInsights Product Team recommends having one Studio Domain per customer. Veeva neither recommends nor supports having more than one Studio Domain per customer in the current Veeva CRM application, nor the future Vault CRM application landscape. Having multiple domains can have consequences like content data loss and content deploying complexities in the CRM orgs. If there are multiple domains requested, that will prolong the duration of the domain creation.
- Name: Taking into consideration that one domain is recommended per customer, the best idea is to choose a broad, descriptive name. The Domains should be easy and quick to find later. It is recommended to include the company name (or a shorter version) in the Studio Domain name. For example, for VerteoBioPharma the domain might be named as VerteoBioPharma or VBPharma.
- Price: MyInsights Studio Domain is part of the regular MyInsights license. The organization has to purchase a MyInsights License and it should be verified by the Support Team before starting the process.
