Question:
Why is File Name appearing differently in the document viewer in the Library when opening it from the Submissions Archive viewer?
Answer:
On import, Submissions Archive tries to reuse documents that already exist if the file's MD5 checksum matches. If the same document is used in multiple submissions, the File Name field is set when the file is first created. When viewed through Submissions Archive Viewer, users will see the submission-specific file name within the Submission Details section on the document information pane.
To fix this issue:
- If the document was only used in one submission (check Where Used in the Archive doc field section), the user may remove the submission, delete the document from the library, and then import the submission again
- If the document is used in multiple submissions, some discrepancies between those fields are expected
