Overview:
Section signals are strings appended to the end of a Section Name on a page layout. These section signals communicate configuration instructions that are carried out by custom Veeva pages both online and offline. The format for section signals is --xxx, where xxx is a fixed combination of letters.
However, the Section Signal --xxx does not work in CRM.
Root Cause:
One reason is that the Section Signal--xxx is not set correctly in Translation Workbench for the relevant Language.
Solution:
- Navigate to: Setup --> Administer --> Translation Workbench --> Translate.
- Be sure the --xxx section signal for the relevant Language translation is set correctly.
