Explanation of the Veeva Account Search Functionalities Across Various Veeva Products

The purpose of this article is to provide a clear differentiation across several Veeva Account Search functionalities of various products, visually assisted by screenshots. Certain functionalities are not considered out-of-the-box (OOTB). Details of the Non-OOTB Account Search functionalities are covered in What are Global Account Search (GAS) and Org Wide Account Search (OWAS) in CRM?

    This functionality has no specific UI, it is available as a built-in capability on the standard My Accounts page and Account lookups in Veeva CRM for iPad. When the ADVANCED_SEARCH_vod Veeva Setting is enabled, search strings produce results based on multiple fields, not just the Account name.
