How to Retrieve Crash Reports on iOS for Veeva CRM?

Answer:

Veeva Support may ask for crash logs after a user experiences an iRep crash.  When this occurs, a crash log is generated on the local device.

In iOS 11 and above, crash reports can be sent directly from the user's device.

1. Navigate to: Settings --> Privacy --> Analytics & Improvements --> Analytic Data.
2. Look for files that begin with iRep_ or Veeva.
3. Use the Share icon to email the file.

Sync With iTunes:

1. Sync the device with iTunes on the Desktop. 
2. After syncing, look for crash logs in the correct directory. (see below) 
3. Look for files that begin with iRep_ or Veeva.

Mac OSX:

• ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/

Windows XP:

• C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\

Windows Vista, 7 or 10:

• C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\
