Why are HTML Tags displaying in rich text fields in CRM Offline?

Answer:

Rich text fields are not fully supported offline for iPad. 

iPad uses SQLite database and shows the exact values within the rich text fields. 

Utilize Text Area (Long) data type fields, and remove the HTML tags in order to display the values without HTML Tags.
