What is the Email to Vault feature in Vault?
Answer:
The Email to Vault feature allows users to directly send emails to a designated Vault inbound email address and automatically create content within Vault. This helps users avoid having to download and then upload each email to Vault.
Emails are converted into documents, attachments, or other records depending on the Email Processor configured with the inbound email address. For example, the included Create Document from Email processor turns the email into an unclassified document.
The limit size for emails, including attachments, is up to 30MB. The configuration allows limiting who can email an inbound email address.
