Question:
Why does the new Account creation (+) button missing from My Accounts view on iPad?
Answer:
The + button on My Accounts view allows User to create a new Account. Account creation uses Global Account Search (GAS), and is done either standard OLS-based record creation, or Data Change Request (DCR).
If only DCR configuration is implemented for the User, they will not see the + button.
For visibility of the button, User either needs Create rights on Account object, or Create Account DCR possibility being configured for them.
This is different from the online process (as online, GAS is enabled as a separate tab, so it can be available for Users without aforementioned configurations), as on iPad, currently there is no option for individual GAS configuration.
Provide one or both of the aforementioned rights to User.
