Question:
Why does an Auto-Published CLM Presentation remain Staged in CRM after it's Expired in Vault?
Answer:
When a document is created in Vault in Staged status and 'Publish to CLM' is set to true, the distribution record(s) get created and distributed to the Staged folder.
When this Staged document gets Approved, the distribution record(s) get created and distributed to the Production folder.
When an Approved document gets Expired in Vault, the corresponding CRM record also gets Expired, but the Staged version remains in CRM.
When expiring the Approved version of the document in Vault, also set 'Publish to CLM' to false or enter an End Date for the document to remedy this.
