Root Cause:
The New Button on the Survey Target Tab directs the user to the standard Salesforce record creation page instead of the Visualforce Page provided by Veeva.
Solution:
Please refer to the following three solutions:
- On Survey Target object Buttons, Links, and Action: override the New button with the Add_Survey_Target_vod Visualforce page.
- On Survey Target object List View search layout: remove the New button. Then, add the New Survey Target custom button.
- On Setup > My Personal Information > Record Type Selection: enable the checkbox for Survey Targets. This bypasses the record type selector when clicking the New button on the Recent Survey Targets list view. The user first sees this when clicking on the Survey Targets tab.
