Question:

Why is a CLM Presentation not visible in the Media tab?

Answer:

When CLM Presentations do not display in the Media Tab but are downloaded to the device, this tends to indicate one of the following conditions:

• The user does not have access to the records. Ensure the user has sharing access to the Presentation and Key Message records. 
  • Reference: Sharing Rules
     
• Key Message zip files are packaged incorrectly. To check this on iPad, navigate to More -> Options -> Media and sort by Size in descending order. Any Key Messages packages incorrectly will display Invalid File Structure errors. See the article below for proper packaging instructions. 
  • Reference: Content Packaging
     
• One of the Key Messages is marked as Is Shared Resource
  • CLM Presentations should not contain Key Messages that are marked as Is Shared Resource. This checkbox is reserved for HTML asset Key Messages that are used across multiple CLM Presentations.

• CLM Presentation Slides do not exist for Key Messages
   
• CLM Presentation Slides exist for Key Messages that do not have zip files uploaded
   
• The CLM Presentation has Key Messages with a Product that the user does not have access to in My Setup
   
• The CLM Presentation or Key Messages have a Product that is a Competitor Product
  • The Media tab only displays content for Company Products
     
• The product itself does not exist on the user's device
  • This can be due to sharing or VMobile Object Configuration (VMOC)
     
• A CLM Presentation with Detail Groups is not visible to a user
   
• Today's date must fall between the start_date_vod and end_date_vod fields listed on the CLM_Presentation_vod record
   
• The user should have access to any defined sub-presentations.
