Question:
In a CRM org that is integrated with Veeva Network, Call records are updated by the Network Admin user. What kind of change does the Network Admin user perform on these records?
Answer:
This can occur if the zvod_Business_Account_vod__c (Location) field is utilized on the Call page.
When recording a Call with the Location field populated, a Child Call is created for the Business Account defined in the Location field. If the Account's relationship with this Parent Account is changed in Network, then the related Child Account record is updated by the Network Admin. As a result, the Call records are also updated by replacing the Location field with the information of the updated Child Account record.
The Location related fields reconciled on the Call:
- Location_Name_vod__c: Lookup to the Parent Account.
- Location_Id_vod__c: Text field which contains the Same ID as the Location_Name_vod__c
- Location_Text_vod__c: Text field which contains the Name of the Parent Account
