Question:
Why is the Customer Master Status field not updating when the Decoupled DCR is processed?
Answer:
This is working as designed. The Customer Master Status field is automatically set to Under_Review_vod when the DCR is created, but does not update automatically according to how the DCR is processed (Accepted, Rejected, etc.) when using the Decoupled Data Change Requests configuration.
How these DCRs are reviewed, approved, and flow into CRM and other systems must be separately configured based on the organizational master data processes.
By default, the Customer_Master_Status_vod CRM field is inherently mapped with the Record State Network field and only receives updates from the values of this field, so it has no use when Network Customer Master Mode = 0.
