Question:

Is it possible to reject any Add Target Challenges of an end-user who does not provide a Channel Activity Goal in the Targeting Feedback functionality of Veeva Align?

Answer:

This is possible with the following Approval Rule in Align - Right click on the images and select "Open in New Tab" to view them:

Note the Field Logic Filter as the OR Operator is necessary.

After running Recalculate Territory Data on the Modeling Field Force and attempting to add a Target with the end-user without specifying any MC Cycle Channel-related goals in the Future Territory Alignments tab:

In the event this Approval Rule is not present, the Add Target Challenge (MCCP Target record) will be created. With this Approval Rule, the creation of the MCCP Channel record will be enforced. The Feedback Activity goal fields are populated accordingly.
