Question:
Why do the CLM Filter Fields on the Veeva CRM Desktop App not match those on the iPad?
Answer:
CLM Filter Fields are configured through Veeva Messages through a comma-delimited list of fields that act as filters.
CLM Filters on the Veeva CRM iPad App are configured on the Veeva Message corresponding to the user's language and locale settings in Veeva CRM. However, the Veeva CRM Desktop app selects the Veeva Message based on the user's Windows language and locale settings. If the user has language and locale settings on their Windows PC different from those set in CRM, (for example, English US in CRM and English UK on PC) and the Veeva Messages for en_US and en_GB have different filter fields configured, different filter fields will be available in the CRM Desktop app vs the iPad app.
To avoid this, ensure the user's language and locale settings in CRM are the same as their preferred language and region settings in Windows.
